Customer Reviews of Liveaboard
Customer ReviewsThe Kira Kira liveaboard customer reviews listed here have been chosen for you to get a feel for the scuba diving experience you'll get.
Customer Review
”We had a wonderful week of diving, made new friends and gained 5 pounds. The food on the boat was amazing after almost 3 months in Indonesia the absolute best local food we have had. The open space on the boat was very comfortable with bean bags on the deck and plenty of space in the galley. It was easy to get to your dive gear as everything was spread out well. Our small group felt like family at the end of the trip… and experience we have never gotten on a larger liveaboard. The diving was plentiful and well organized.” Recommended for: The food. The diving. The smaller group.
Customer Review ByJennifer G, from: United States scored the Kira Kira 9.2 out of 10; Review courtesy of Liveaboard.com, for more reviews and information click here: Kira Kira.
”Magnificent liveaboard experience with amazing diving – what a wonderful trip. (July 2024) We had a blast, the boat is so pretty because of its traditional phinisi style and we felt very comfortable, also in the cabins (even though there is no air conditioner, the wind at night was cool enough). The sundeck was a good place to chill out. The food was absolutely delicious with a great variety (also vegetarian), it was mostly local dishes. The boat was very clean. There are only two bathrooms with a toilet, sink and shower on the boat and they are shared, but that didn’t pose a problem. Admittedly, they didn’t smell that nice sometimes (from the plumbing of the shower), but they were cleaned very often. We enjoyed the diving enormously, we saw so many different species (octopus, manta rays, so many nudibranchs and flatworms, cuttlefish, sharks, mantis shrimps, crabs, huge fish swarms, etc…), the reefs were in good condition and teeming with life, and some of the dive sites were spectacular because of the adrenaline factor (strong currents). We felt that the crew was very welcoming and working hard at all times to ensure we had a great time. The dive guides (Savri and Faldy) always knew the sites and conditions very well, it was obvious that they had a lot of experience and were very focused on safety.” Recommended for: dive sites, scenery. food and crew. the boat itself (relaxing on the deck).
