I love night diving
Quote from Russell Bowyer on 17/09/2018, 10:27 pmNight diving is really exciting. I know many beginner scuba divers get a bit worried on their first night dive, but actually once they get over their initial fear they are usually fine.
It’s always best practice to dive the site during daylight hours first before doing the night dive. This is good for orientation and for safety.
But by seeing the dive site in the light it also gives you the contrast of how different it looks in the dark too.
It always amazes me how different everything looks under torche light vs daylight.
Plus most of the daytime fish are asleep too.
